Our barista Josh had the honor of serving the very first customers — including Donald Rubendall, Lisa Chapman and Pete Nakonechni from the Rubin, Fortunato & Harbison P.C. team — with fresh coffee, tea and delicious Suzy-Jo Donuts.
Over the years, Rubin Fortunato has been champions for our students in so many meaningful ways — from sponsoring events and serving as “Secret Santa,” to honoring our teachers during Autism Awareness Month and creating thoughtful ways to support our school community.
Experiences like the Coffee Bar allow our students to practice customer service, communication and workplace routines in a supportive environment while building skills for the future.
It may look like a simple cup of coffee, but for our students it represents confidence, independence and the pride of doing a job well.
