Middle School Program
Middle School Program
Our Middle School Program builds upon the skills developed at the elementary level and serves students with autism ages 12–16. As students continue to grow in confidence and ability, teachers and specialists address the unique needs of adolescence through a departmentalized academic program and integrated therapies.
Instruction is supplemented in the Daily Living Center, where students practice real-world skills such as money management, meal preparation and housekeeping. On-campus internships—including the School Store, Coffee & Popcorn Cart, Smoothie Station, Vending Machine, TimTV and Crafters—give students hands-on opportunities to build job readiness, responsibility and teamwork in preparation for future community-based work experiences.
